Who I am
Stories have always been my compass. I write of hidden worlds, forgotten legacies, and the strength it takes to face shadows—because I know what it means to walk through them. As a disabled veteran and a parent to two incredible special-needs children, my life has been shaped by resilience, struggle, and the unshakable belief that hope can be found even in the darkest places.
My novels are born from that same belief. They explore themes of family, belonging, and the courage to rise when the world feels heavy. Fantasy, for me, has never been an escape—it’s a mirror, a reminder that every ordinary person holds extraordinary power.
Away from the page, you’ll often find me wandering thrift stores in search of forgotten treasures, sketching out creative projects, or simply savoring quiet moments with my family. I carry all of these pieces—my battles, my joys, my curiosities—into the stories I tell.
At the heart of it all, I write for readers who have ever felt unseen, unheard, or unworthy of their own story. My worlds are built for you—to remind you that you matter, that magic lingers in the unlikeliest of places, and that courage can take root even when everything feels broken.
